Front End (UI) Engineer

Newton Vision Corp is seeking a Front-end (UI) Software Engineer to support a large client on multiple projects.
The ideal candidate is passionate about creating products that are functional, efficient, and beautiful.
You'll partner with the client’s product team, UX designers, and back-end engineers and others to deliver great products.
A passion for coding and technology is a huge plus. This is a fully remote role and is an open-ended, long-term assignment.
Responsibilities

Build responsive HTML pages from wireframes and/or direction from product owners & designers.

Work with other developers to create and update angular partials using JavaScript, CSS and HTML
-
Creating new angular components (directives, services, factories, controllers, etc.) with Angular JS – Angular 2+/TypeScript.
Requirements

Strong working knowledge of UI/UX design principles
-
A minimum of 5+ years in Web-based design/development experience

Knowledge of fundamental JavaScript principles and DOM manipulation techniques

Experience working with Angular and MVC frameworks.

Experience to RESTful API’s

A minimum of 2 years’ experience with .Net C#

GitHub, Azure DevOps and AWS experience or similar

Demonstrated ability with analytical/problem-solving skills and responsive web design patterns

Experience with OOP JavaScript (TypeScript)

Experience with CSS3 frameworks with preprocessors (SASS, LESS)

Angular Material Design / Bootstrap experience

Experience with CSS animations

MSSQL exposure

Experience with Agile

Mobile app Experience a plus
